X-Stop monitors and blocks Web (HTTP) and file transfers (FTP) that lead to pornographic or offensive sites. X-Stop also searches out and blocks sources containing dangerous information such as bomb-making instructions. New pornographic sites are added daily, sometimes within hours of the site going online! X-Stop issues an HTML block page when a violation occurs.

Search Engine Monitor

X-Stop can be activated to monitor and block select Internet searches for pornography. X-Stop deduces which searches are solely intended to return pornographic sites, then blocks the search—not the search engine (ie, Billy can’t search on words such as “porn”).

Newsgroup Filter

X-Stop is an in-line device (Gateway) that monitors incoming Newsgroup (NNTP) traffic then compares the user request with the X-Stop Newsgroup library. If the request locates a match in the NNTP library, X-Stop terminates any further requests to that particular Newsgroup.

X-Stop makes it nearly impossible for pornography sites to be accessed on the internet.
