Went to different customer’s docks, to pickup and deliver various types of freight in the U.S. and all of Ontario, Canada.  I would drive to and make sure all required job functions were done to take it to where it had to be delivered.  The job functions that had to be done included the Customs paperwork for crossing the border, stopping by customs to get freight cleared for entry into US/Canada, making sure the bill of lading was correct for the freight we had, the fuel and toll record was right so we could correctly be paid for the load, properly securing the load for transport, and checking securement of freight while in transit.

          Started as an Assistant Computer Technician.  I assisted the Lead Tech in the repair of computers and equipment that came into us.  When the Warehouse Manager was hired, I was sent back to help him with such tasks as; power on testing systems, inventorying equipment that comes into the building, testing monitors, getting equipment for store needs and keeping warehouse swept clean at night.  Within the last couple of months, I have acquired a new duty; this duty is to unload a truck via a fork truck when the Warehouse Manager is absent.

Hobbies

 

Fall 1998- present   I have an established network of six computers.  Four PCs, one is my server, one Mac, and a Dell Notebook, which are linked to, and Ethernet-TCP-IP network.  This can be discussed in greater detail.

 

1993 - present        expanding my knowledge of computers.

 

Researched computer terminology at my school library and at the Toledo Lucas County Public Libraries.  Spent countless hours exploring the workings of computers.  Spent time taking apart used 286, 386 and 486 systems learning about them.
