“WORK AND PRISON COMPARED?”

I am in no way
suggesting that we
go out and do
something to go to
prison. But I came
across a humorous
comparison to work
and prison that,
while a joke, it is
extremely accurate.
Enjoy the humor, but
don’t take it to
heart, unless you’re
ready to retire.
1. IN PRISON..You
spend the majority
of your time in an 8
X 10 cell.
AT WORK..You spend
most of your time in
a 6 X 8 cubicle.
2. IN PRISON..You
get three free meals
a day.
AT WORK..You get a
break for one meal
and you have to pay
for it.
3. IN PRISON..You
get time off for
good behavior.
AT WORK..You get
rewarded for good
behavior with more
work.
4. IN PRISON..A
guard locks and
unlocks all the
doors for you.
AT WORK..You must
carry around a
security card and
unlock and
open all the doors
yourself.
5. IN PRISON..You
can watch TV and
play games.
AT WORK..You get
fired for watching
TV and playing
games.
6. IN PRISON..You
get your own toilet.
AT WORK..You have to
share.
7. IN PRISON..They
allow your family
and friends to
visit.
AT WORK..You cannot
even speak to your
family and friends.
8. IN
PRISON..Expenses are
paid by taxpayers
with no work
required.
AT WORK..You get to
pay all the expenses
to go to work and
then
they deduct taxes
from your salary to
pay for prisoners.
9. IN PRISON..You
spend most of your
life looking through
bars from
inside wanting to
get out.
AT WORK..You spend
most of your time
wanting to get out
and go
inside bars.
10. IN PRISON..There
are wardens who are
often sadistic.
AT WORK..They are
called supervisors.
11. IN PRISON..You
have unlimited time
to read e-mail
jokes.
AT WORK..You get
fired if you get
caught.
Now, God wants us
all to obey the laws
of Him and man and
to stay out of
prison. The Bible’s
plan of salvation is
very plain. The Book
Of Acts teaches that
one must:
1) Believe In Jesus
As Savior (16:31) 2)
Repent Of Sins
(17:30)
3) Confess Christ
Audibly (8:37) 4) Be
Baptized In Water
(2:38)
5) Live A Christian
Life (14:22)
