PLEDGE TO AMERICAN FLAG

 I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

PLEDGE TO CHRISTIAN FLAG

 I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag, and to the Savior for whose kingdom it stands, one brotherhood, uniting all Christians, in service and in love.

PLEDGE TO BIBLE

 I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God's Holy Word, "a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."  Its words will I hide in my heart that I may not sin against God.

            Pledges are a promise, agreement, a contract, or a covenant to  do  something.  Thus  when  a  person makes a pledge - they are actually stating that  they are approving of what they are saying in a “pledge”. 

            Often one makes a financial pledge or a promise to provide  a certain amount of money to a certain project or ministry.  Thus when we state the above pledges we need to follow through with actions based upon our words.  One will not “go wrong” by making the above pledges.
