 and I
contend.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>No, sinners can be s=
aved
without baptism, which is the culmination of the new birth just as the actu=
al
emerging from the womb is called the physical &quot;birth.&quot;<o:p></o:p>=

church, tells sinners seeking salvation to told to <b style=3D'mso-bidi-fon=

nd
to receive the indwelling guest who is God's Spirit (Acts 2:38).<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span><b style=3D'mso-bidi-font-weight:n=
ormal'><u>Paul</u></b>
points out that we are baptized <b style=3D'mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><u=
>INTO</u></b>

plainly that it is from the baptismal pool that we arise to walk in <b

influenced by the Word prior to birth and by His Spirit just as the husband=

</span>This happens through reading the written Bible, as well as hearing it
through an evangelist.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>A birth
results in new life and that's its purpose. What we are called to enjoy is =
not
the birth itself, but the life, the walk, the Way which Ephesians 2:8-10 po=
ints
out IS why we were reborn (good deeds). The <b style=3D'mso-bidi-font-weigh=

normal'><u>new birth is a simple process</u></b> just as birth itself is. T=
he
implanted Word creates the beginning of life. Following repentance and bapt=
ism
based upon faith in Jesus, new Christians walk in a new life aimed at bring=
ing
us to Heaven after serving Jesus here on earth with all our hearts (Revelat=
ion.
2:10).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

That's what Paul is saying in 1 Corinthians 12:13 -- we ALL (each of us) ca=

INTO the church (into Christ) when, by the influence of God's Spirit, we we=

baptized (by another person) into CHRIST, and so we should be united becaus=
e we
have shared a common faith and a common &quot;new birth.&quot; He's saying =
that
no one is a Christian until the person HAS repented of sin and been baptized
into Christ.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Paul agrees with=
 Peter
and repeats the same &quot;plan&quot; for salvation which was spoken by Pet=
er
on the birthday the church. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
