“MARITAL UNFAITHFULNESS - SORRY ENDING   ”<= /p>

  =           There was once a married woman who became involved with a married man.  It went on for many months.  Neither of the other’s spous= e was aware of it.  Finally the flin= g came to an end.  However, as often happens someone let the “cat out of the bag” to the adulteress’s husband.  S= he confessed to the affair and pleaded for forgiveness and  he forgave her. 

 

  =             &nb= sp;            =             &nb= sp;        All seemed well for a lengthy perio= d of time and then the husband who had been “cheated on” said that h= e no longer could remain with her, as he could not trust or respect her.  A divorce resulted and the kids we= re torn between the two parents, as to where they should reside.<= /p>

 

  =             &nb= sp;            =             &nb= sp;        The reason for this disturbance was sin.  When one wants to defy God’s ways and get involved with another other than his/her spouse by committing one of the following, hurt always results.

 

A) Homosexuality -sex between= two males

 

B) Adultery - sex between = two adults of the opposite sex, with at least one of 

        =             &nb= sp;    them being married to another

    

C) Lesbianism - sex between t= wo females

 

D) Incest - sex between a fam= ily member, other than a spouse

 

E) Beastiality - sex betwe= en a human and an animal

  =             &nb= sp;            =             &nb= sp;        It is God's Plan for man and woman = to share under one roof (physically, emotionally, sexually, etc. - Genesis 1:27,28; 2:21-24).  However, man and woman are to be committed to one another in matrimony (marriage).  To share one's body with another a= part from being married to each other is sin and will condemn a person to hell unless forgiveness is extended by God (I Corinthians 6:9-20).<= /p>

 

  =             &nb= sp;            =             &nb= sp;        Probably most people would respond in the negative if asked, “Have you ever committed adultery, or b= een immoral?”.  However, Jes= us once said that If a man looked upon a woman lustfully - he has already committed adultery within his heart (Matthew 5:28).  When this Scripture is considered,=   is there a human being who could a= nswer the above question in the negative?  Whether it has been the actual physical act or the mental act - it is sin according to Jesus.  The key word  for those living a lustful life is "REPENT"!  This means that one must turn from known sin in one= 's life if eternal salvation is desired here and now as well as in eternity.  Accepting Jesus Christ as Savior a= lso calls for one to not only be baptized in water, but to repent, confess Him = as Savior, and to be faithful to God's ways (Acts 16:31; 2:38; 8:37; 17:30; 14:22).
