“HOMOSEXUALITY,  A=   SIN?”

        &= nbsp;   God created mankind and ordained sex (Genesis 1:27,28; Matthew 19:4-9).  He has set the boundaries a= nd if one wants to exercise free-will and stay faithful to a spouse, then one wil= l be blessed by God.  However, if o= ne chooses sin and to depart from God’s plan - one can do it as he has free-will.  In today’s w= orld many are teaching that homosexuality is permissible and are promoting this lifestyle.

        &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;  A person who chooses to become involved in homosexuality= is being called a “Gay”.&n= bsp; But, this is not a very good term to place upon one who is anything = but joyful.  Genesis 19 describes = men who had chosen to become sexually involved with other men.  This resulted in their cities (Sodom and Gomorrah) being destroyed by God.  Romans 1:18-22 speaks about God’s displeasure of the “Gays”.  They are spoken of as ones having = depraved minds.  Genesis 18:20 stat= es that their sin is grievous.  Leviticus 18:22; 20:13 is very plain as it tells man to not “h= ave sex” with another man... it is detestable and both parties are to be executed.  I Corinthians 6:9-1= 1 list several types of sexual sins and it is made very plain that those who chose= to follow a homosexual lifestyle will not be going to heaven.

 

        &= nbsp;   Some would be quick to say, “The Bible says not to judge...” (Matthew 7:1).  My response is, “= The Bible says to make a right judgment...” (John 7:24).  God has spoken about sin and we as humans need to allow His Word to direct our lives properly.  An old saying concerning the Bible= is, “In the Bible, the main things are the plain things and the plain thi= ngs are the main things”.  T= hus, God has made it very plain when it comes to sexual sins.<= /b>

        &= nbsp;   Some have advocated that one is born a “Gay” and cannot help himself= , but this is not taught in the Scriptures any more than one is born a drunk, wife beater, rapist, child molester, or a murderer.  This is a learned behavior = and one must refuse to follow the temptations of  Satan and follow God’s plan = for righteous living.
