Have you tried to follow God’s will;
Before you became too ill?
Have you planned who’ll get your worldly goods, dear friend;
When you say good-bye and reach the end?
Will you get your heart’s delight;
Because you’ve had foresight?
Or will your treasures go to waste;
Because you’ve been in haste?
Will your sons and daughters spend your fortune;
Or the government and state get their portion?
When you’ve come to the end of the road;=
And gone on to your abode.
When you get to Heaven’s Gate;
Hopefully you won’t be too late.
Because if you’ve had your say;
You’ve surely designated church and KEA*
If you’ve written your will;
Before you became too ill.
