EASTER, AND BLONDES

Three blondes died
and found themselves
standing before St.
Peter. He told them
that before they
could enter the
Kingdom, they had to
tell him what Easter
represented.
The first blonde
said, "Easter is a
holiday where they
have a big feast and
we give thanks and
eat turkey." St.
Peter said, "Noooooo,"
and he refused to
allow her to enter
heaven.
The second blonde
said, "Easter is
when we celebrate
Jesus' birth and
exchange gifts."
Once again St. Peter
said, "Noooooo," and
would not allow her
to enter heaven.
The third blonde
said she knew what
Easter was, and St.
Peter said, "So,
tell me." She said,"
Easter is a
Christian holiday
that coincides with
the Jewish festival
of Passover. Jesus
was having the
Passover feast with
his disciples when
He was betrayed by
Judas, and the
Romans arrested him
and hung him on the
cross and eventually
He died. Then they
buried Him in a tomb
behind a very large
boulder.
St. Peter said, "Verrrrrry
good." But the third
blonde continued,
"Now, every year the
Jews roll away the
boulder and Jesus
comes out. If he
sees his shadow, we
have six more weeks
of basketball."
St. Peter fainted.
Many people have an
idea about Jesus,
but they do not know
what really the
Bible teaches about
Him. This is the
purpose and reason
why one should read
and study the Bible.
Jesus states in John
12:48 that it will
be by the Word of
God (Bible) that all
will be judged by on
Judgement Day. Thus,
we should all want
to know what the
“Rule Book” (Bible)
says about Jesus. We
must never depend on
“Hear Say”, but the
stated facts
recorded in the
Bible. Please read
it!
Plainly, don’t get
short changed. Let’s
be ready to meet our
Maker. The Bible (in
Acts) teaches that
to avoid hell and
gain heaven - one
must:
1) Believe In Jesus
As Savior (16:31) 2)
Repent Of Sins

3) Confess Christ
Audibly (8:37) 4) Be
Baptized In Water
(2:38)
5) Live A Christian
Life (14:22) 6) Be
Active In the Church
