KIDS, IN S= UNDAY SCHOOL #3

&nbs= p;           The following article came to me recently and I contended that I should pass it on.  It has been slightly edit= ed and a conclusion added.

 

  1) KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOD  A Sunday Sc= hool teacher began her lesson with a question, "Boys and girls, what do we = know about God?"  A hand shot = up in the air. "He is an artist!" said the kindergarten boy.  “Really?  How do you know?”  the teacher asked. "You know = - Our Father, who does art in Heaven... "

 

  2) PREACHER NOT CLEAR  Sunday after church, a Mom asked her very young daughter what the lesson was about. The daughter answered, "Don't be scared, you'll get your quilt."   Needless to say, the Mom was perplexed. Later in the day, the minister stopped by for tea and the Mom as= ked him what that morning's Sunday school lesson was about. He said "Be not afraid, thy comforter is coming."

 

  3) GOOD SAMARITAN   A Sun= day school teacher was telling her class the story of the Good Samaritan, in wh= ich a man was beaten, robbed, and left for dead. She described the situation in vivid detail so her students would catch the drama. Then she asked the clas= s, "If you saw a person lying on the roadside, all wounded and bleeding, = what would you do?" A thoughtful little girl broke the hushed silence, "I think I'd throw up."=

 

 4) DID NOAH FISH?   A Su= nday school teacher asked, "Johnny, do you think Noah did a lot of fishing = when he was on the Ark= ?" "No," replied David. "How could he, with just two worms?&quo= t;

 

  5) HIGHER POWER   A Sunday = school teacher said to her children, "We have been learning how powerful kings and queens were in Bible times. But, there is a higher power. Can anybody t= ell me what it is?" One child blurted out, "Aces!"

 

   = Plainly, don’t get short cha= nged.  Let’s be ready to meet our Maker.  The Bible (in Acts) te= aches that to avoid hell and gain heaven - one must:

1) Believe In Jesus As Savior (16:31)  2) Repent Of Sins  (17:30)  

3) Confess Christ Audibly (8:37)  4) Be Baptized In  Water (2:38)  

5) Live A  Christian Life (14:22)   6) Be Active In the Church (2:47)
