l) Recognize him as a spiritual brother.
2) Share "special days" with him and his.
3) Fellowship him (lunch, after church fellowship).
4) Send him encouragement notes via mail, phone answering machines.
5) Practice the "Golden Rule" on him.
6) Report to him those needing his attention (sick, troubled, crisis, etc.).
7) Recreate with him.
8) Attempt to understand his "position" (away from family, glasshouse, peace-maker, etc.).
9) Personally pray for him regularly in private and publicly.
l0) Child sit, pet sit for him (quarterly get away).
ll) See that he attends and has paid for; seminars, retreats, conventions, etc.
l2) Make certain he is supplied with "needed tools".
l3) Do not gossip about him or permit others to.
l4) Double date with him.
l5) Assist him in needed areas.
l6) Recognize that each church member is as accountable to him as he is to them.
l7) See that he has needed and necessary time for his family.
l8) Stick up for him when you should (put yourself in his place).
l9) Pass on to him periodically gift certificates.
20) Keep current his contract and pay package (cost of living, merit raises, etc.).
