Settings Support
Setting up your CROS.NET E-Mail
Microsoft Outlook Express (Internet Explorer 4.x - 5.x)
Most new users will have this program. It is the mail program that ships with Windows98, 2000 and IE4 and IE5.

Open Up Your Outlook Express

Go to the TOOLS menu (located on the top menu bar).

Go down to ACCOUNTS and click.

Click the Mail tab

Click Add, Mail.

In the YOUR NAME screen that comes up type in your name.

Click Next

In the INTERNET EMAIL ADDRESS screen check the "I already have an e-mail addres I would like to use" and type in your email address, (i.e. yourname@cros.net).

Click Next

In the E-MAIL SERVER NAME screen make sure that POP3 is selected in the drop down box.
Under Incoming Mail type in : pop3.cros.net
Under Outgoing Mail type in : smtp.cros.net

Click Next

In the INTERNET MAIL LOGIN SCREEN in ACCOUNT NAME type in your user name that you signed up to cros.net with. In the PASSWORD box type in your cros.net password, again make sure it is the same one that you signed up to Cros.net with.

Click Next

Click Finish
